I just returned from a trip to Savannah and the National Trust for Historic Preservation annual conference, As part of a tour to get continuing education credits, I visited an abandoned school in the Windy Hill community of Georgia. The school was built to educate black students during the era when blacks and whites attended "separate but equal" schools.
Day 187 - Windy Hill - two views
Day 186 — After the holiday
Day 185 - Let there be lights
Day 184 — Front door view
There are few places in the world that offer a front yard view that is this stunning. I was fortunate enough to see it last night as I left an assignment last night. Then I bumped into a fellow photographer who was taking picture of a partial solar eclipse that I didn't even know was happening. Despite the clouds you can see the partial eclipse as the sun sets behind the bridge. Click on the image to see a bigger view.
