I don't know about you, but when I was a child the week between Christmas and New Year's Day was spent preparing for the upcoming changing of the calendar. My brother sister and I would pour over the various calendars on display in the mall (which was an hour's drive away from home) while my parents exchanged the inevitable pieces of Christmas clothing that didn't fit. We were each allowed to buy one calendar that would be hung above our desks at home.
You don't find them much any more (maybe because of the Internet and the fact that calendars now travel with us in our phones) but the calendar kiosk in the mall was filled with almost every kind of calendar you could imagine — from kittens and puppies to Ansel Adams and hot rod cars. And of course there was the swimsuit calendar.
While I cannot offer the same variety as the calendar salesman, here is a link to my 2014 calendar filled with 14 images from the past year. Happy New Year and enjoy!
