The hardest thing for me to photograph in Natchez are the grand mansions. Not because they are ugly, far from it. It is because all of them have been photographed from nearly every angle by the thousands of visitors that pass through every year. Is there anything new I can offer that hasn't been done? Unlike yesterday's meditation on simplicity, sometimes I look to the other side for answers — like this view of the antebellum house Stanton Hall.
