School children (even mine) get the day off. For all of the other people, it is work as usual. And for newspaper people it can be a lot of work documenting all of the fun and dangers from the snow and ice covering our community. It doesn't leave a lot of time for anything else. So here is a quick shot taken during my lunch of a scene where cars turned a local parking lot into an impromptu canvas.
