Most of my job at the newspaper is getting rid of the clutter — getting rid of everything that is distracting to the eye so that the viewer can focus on the people, the emotion and the event. A clear, clean image is the goal. But life is more complicated than that. Here is an exercise in creating three images of Christian Hope Baptist Church in Natchez with all the wires, trees and things that get in the way. It's like "Where's Waldo." Can you find the church? It's in there somewhere.
