If you drive down Stahlman Street in Natchez, you probably wouldn't think you were traveling down the front lawn of Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. The bank at the end of the street poses a striking resemblance to the architectural masterpiece of our third president. Unfortunately, the fast food signs, wooden fence, telephone poles and wires create an altogether different view of a building that would fit better in a landscape of trees and grass than of McDonald's and Taco Bell.
