This is the remains of the office my wife worked in at the end of Green Street — which was the office for the old box factory that used to sit in what is now the Isle of Capri Casino parking lot. It has been many years since a fire gutted the building leaving nothing but charred remains and a the original concrete vault. For years the site was a pile of rubble leftover from the fire. I decided to venture down to see what is left and discovered that crews from the National Park Service cleared everything but the vault — now a small ruin surrounded by an overgrown landscape.
